MOBILE VIKINGS

Mobile Vikings is a mobile virtual network operator which, from 2009, has been providing services in Belgium, from 2012 in the Netherlands and from 2013 in Poland. At first it offered only one pre-paid solution for clients, but at the beginning of 2019 decided to launch a completely new proposition based on a subscription model.

Mobile Vikings chose MADOGZ to propose a strategy covering the launch of the service to the market. The agency prepared a completely new communication platform and a holistic digital campaign to distinguish the Mobile Vikings service and make it the first choice in the category.

Challenge/Task:

Over the last few years, the virtual telecom market has been going through a very active price war but not offering any new solutions for their clients. Mobile Viking has decided to disrupt the status quo by developing a completely new service which had been well-known in other market categories/branches – music (Spotify) or entertaining (Netflix), based on the subscription model. The main goal was to create an effective strategy and then a creative platform which would highlight the benefits of the new and convenient telecommunication service.

What MADOGZ did:

MADOGZ agency was responsible for launching the new service, proposing the strategy, creating the creative platform and delivering the necessary campaign materials, such as: video spot, banner ads, landing page, social media creatives (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), mailings.

The agency also provided public relations activities, i.e. writing and sending press releases, follow-up communications, preparing dedicated gifts for media and media monitoring.

Client’s opinion:

We needed an agency which would be open-minded and ready to propose some unconventional actions for the unique character of Mobile VIkings on the telecom market. In collaboration with MADOGZ I highly appreciate their creativity, consistency of communication strategy and constructive feedback (not just mechanical brief realisation).
